Tron Family
The Tron, a Venetian patrician family counted among the so-called Case Nuove, between the 15th and 16th centuries gave the Republic various prominent political personalities, including the Doge Nicolò Tron (1399-1473), elected at the age of 72 after a long stay in Rhodes, Greece, and in the Kingdom of Crete.
